The new Corsair Extreme SSD series is built with a mixture of the Samsung MLC NAND Flash memory and the new Indilinx Barefoot controller, which allows a maximum reading speed of 240MB / s and write speed up to 170MB / s. In addition, the new discs with the end-user upgrade firmware that makes it possible to provide support to the next TRIM command in Windows 7.
